Enter the world of Monet and his contemporaries like Camille Pissarro, Edouard Manet, Gustave Caillebotte, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Edgar Degas, and more. Learn about their iconic works and the stories behind them.
Emerge into the open to a walkway and view reproductions of some of Monet’s most well-known paintings, such as his Water Lilies series. Continue your journey through the frame decorated with spilling preserved flowers towards another famous painting, which heralds the next space.
Snap a picture of Monet's Japanese-style iconic green bridge where flowers grow wild and free. As you venture deeper, the hues of the flowers darken, signalling the transition from day to night.
Lose yourself in a dreamy night landscape, where wisteria trees and water lilies floating on water are projected on the walls! Glimmers of light create glistening reflections on the surface of the water lily pond, an interpretation of a scene that enchanted Monet in his gardens which became a theme prominently portrayed in many of his waterscape paintings.
Travel back in time with sights, sounds and scents of 19th-century Europe through the eyes of the Impressionist painters who lived during the period. Fresh floral, citrusy or woody scents infuse the space, transporting you to the lush gardens and landscapes where the Impressionists painted their timeless masterpieces.
