Support Our Community Outreach

Gift of Gardens is our community outreach initiative which provides free access to the conservatory for Singapore Residents who may not have the resources to visit or are individuals with disabilities.

The patron of the Gift of Gardens programme is the President of the Republic of Singapore, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

Since our opening, donations from individual donors and corporate sponsors have enabled children, youths, persons with disabilities, seniors and under-privileged families to enjoy a unique garden experience where horticulture and garden artistry come together. This also allowed them to appreciate plants that are seldom seen in this part of the world.

Through the Gift of Gardens, beneficiaries have enjoyed free admission to the conservatory. Their visits have included customised guided tours hosted by our volunteers, community festivals and events, and educational programmes.

Guided by the vision to be a world of gardens for all to own, enjoy and cherish, Gardens by the Bay seeks your support to grow our inclusive community. This will allow us to reach out to more Singaporeans from all walks of life to experience our national garden and benefit from the therapeutic effects of nature.

How Your Donation
Makes A Difference

Gardens by the Bay covers only a portion of its operating costs through government grants and various revenue streams such as attraction ticket sales, event venue hire, retail and donations. With 90% of the Gardens by the Bay’s recreational garden spaces, facilities and community programmes freely accessible to the public, every donation to our campaign (from 1 February 2022 to 17 September 2022) supports our work, be it showcasing nature’s beauty or curating meaningful community events and educational programmes for our beneficiaries.

Make a difference today! Help us cultivate a world of gardens for all to own, enjoy and cherish.
