"At Gardens by the Bay (GB), the staff invest time and resources to train their facilitators. The training is comprehensive, covering not just plant knowledge but teaching methodology too. Working in GB has deepened my passion and knowledge of plants and conservation issues. I am proud to be a facilitator at an establishment that invests in quality programmes."

"I started my new role as an Education Facilitator with Gardens by the Bay since 2012. I have been a nature lover and an outdoor educator for more than 10 years before joining GB. I believe with the programmes provided by GB, I will be able to extend my circle of influence in getting more buy-in to care for the environment. I hope that by getting more people to adopt greener habits, the current situation on climate change can be improved. There is still so much more to learn since I started my journey as a facilitator in GB. The staff and fellow facilitators are constantly looking out for better ways to deliver the programmes. The relationship we build among us goes beyond co-workers. We're friends."

"Being a facilitator in Gardens by the Bay has provided me with an opportunity to learn and share knowledge about plants across the world. It has allowed me to explore my creativity when I conduct my programmes."

"A love for nature prompted us to apply to join Gardens by the Bay as facilitators. And wow! We were astounded by the amazing variety of plants cultivated at the Gardens - what a joy it has been to learn about their unique features and clever designs!
As GB facilitators, we get to share and enjoy our second love too - teaching. It is so inspiring to see the faces of little children light up in wonder as they discover more about colours, shapes, smells and more by observing the plants around them. And nothing is more rewarding than to watch realisation dawn upon the older children as they learn more about the usefulness and incredible workings of plants, or as their curiosity in the impact man has on nature and the environment is piqued.
We hope every individual’s exploration of the Gardens with us will spark in him or her a lifelong appreciation for nature, and the amazing world around them. And if it ignites a passion to pursue careers in related fields, then all the more hands to nurture and protect our Singapore as a ‘City in a Garden’!"
