Explore Heritage Gardens with a series of fun and engaging activities and stories that encourage children to discover the heritage of Singapore through learning about how plants are intricately linked to Singapore's culture in the different themed gardens.

This is in collaboration with the Character and Citizenship Education Branch, Student Development Curriculum Division, Ministry of Education.

  • To understand the significance and uses of different plants to the 3 ethnic groups of Singapore and those from our colonial past
  • To appreciate and show empathy to the cultural differences of different ethnic groups
  • To recognise the ways to show respect towards those of different races
