Botero: Heart of Volume exhibition will close at 3.00pm on 20 Apr 2026 for a private event. Last admission will be at 2.00pm.

Alert Early closure of IMBA Theatre on Tue, 21 Apr 2026

IMBA Theatre will close at 12.00pm on 21 Apr 2026 for a private event. Last admission to the Botero: Heart of Volume and David Hockney: Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away) exhibitions will be at 11.00am.

Alert No Cycling at Waterfront Promenade on 25 & 26 Apr 2026 for Singapore T100

Waterfront Promenade will be a bicycle-free zone on 25 & 26 Apr 2026 due to Singapore T100. 

  • 25 Apr: 9.00am – 7.00pm
  • 26 Apr: 5.00am – 7.00pm

The bicycle-free zone will commence from Marina Bay Sands to Satay by the Bay. Gardens remain accessible at all times. Alternative cycling routes are available, and event marshals will be on-site. Click here for more information about T100. 

Alert Change of Entrance for Far East Organization Children’s Garden from 26 Mar 2026

In anticipation of the upcoming works for Bay South-East bridge, the current entrance for Far East Organization Children’s Garden along the Waterfront Promenade will be closed. From 26 March 2026, please use the new entrance located near the Sun Pavilion.

Alert Bay South–Bay East Bridge Construction in Q2 2026

To facilitate the construction of the bridge linking Bay South Garden and Bay East Garden, there will be no access for cyclists along the waterfront promenade from Q2 2026. The exact implementation date will be announced at least two weeks in advance. During the construction of the bridge, cyclists heading toward Marina Barrage are advised to take an alternative route around the perimeter of Bay South Garden. Pedestrians may still access the waterfront promenade, with a slight diversion to their route.
