STB and Gardens by the Bay will collect, use, disclose and process your personal data, as defined in the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, as well as information on your demographic and transactions within Gardens by the Bay in relation to your participation in the Gardens’ Rewards App pilot trial for the following purposes:
i. to process, administer, manage and validate the earning and redemption of points collected for completing challenges and/or purchasing from participating merchants when using the Gardens’ Rewards App;
ii. to conduct trending, research, analysis and development activities (including but not limited to data analytics, surveys, product and service development and/or profiling) to improve services or products and/or to enhance guest experience;
iii. producing statistics and research for internal and statutory reporting and/or record-keeping requirements.
Withdrawing your Consent
i. The consent that you provide for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data will remain valid until such time it is being withdrawn by you in writing. You may withdraw consent and request us to stop using and/or disclosing your personal data for any or all of the purposes listed above by submitting your request via email to gbrewards@gardensbythebay.com.sg
ii. Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your consent, we may require reasonable time (depending on the complexity of the request and its impact on our relationship with you) for your request to be processed and for us to notify you of the consequences of us acceding to the same, including any legal consequences which may affect your rights and liabilities to us. In general, we shall seek to process your request within ten (10) business days of receiving it.
iii. Whilst we respect your decision to withdraw your consent, please note that depending on the nature and scope of your request, we may not be in a position to continue providing our goods or services to you and we shall, in such circumstances, notify you before completing the processing of your request. Should you decide to cancel your withdrawal of consent, please inform us in writing in the manner described in clause 2 above.
iv. Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose personal data where such collection, use and disclose without consent is permitted or required under applicable laws.
Administration and Management of Personal Data
i. We will put in place reasonable security arrangements to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected and secured. Appropriate security arrangements will be taken to prevent any unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, leakage, loss, damage and/or alteration of your personal data. However, we cannot assume responsibility for any unauthorized use of your personal data by third parties which are wholly attributable to factors beyond our control.
ii. We will also put in place measures such that your personal data in our possession or under our control is destroyed and/or anonymized as soon as it is reasonable to assume that (i) the purpose for which that personal data was collected is no longer being served by the retention of such personal data; and (ii) retention is no longer necessary for any other legal or business purposes.
Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you undertake and agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend STB, Gardens by the Bay and their third party service providers, agents and/or affiliates against any and all claims, actions, demands, losses, damages, costs, expenses and/or charges arising from or relating to your participation in the, Gardens Rewards App.
Issuance:
Every dollar spent on Gardens by the Bay participating partners of this mobile app, will be entitled to 1 point
Points are issued only for actual day spend and no retrospective points will be issued
A maximum of 300 points can be earned per member per day
Spend on accommodation, utility services, event organization, banquets are not eligible for points issuance
Points are strictly non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash
Redemption:
All points not redeemed by end of promotional period will be forfeited. No extension will be allowed
